🍳 Cookware

- instant pot, 7.5L or larger

1Rinse black beans, dry and chickpeas, dry in a strainer, meshblack beans, dry: 700 g, chickpeas, dry: 700 g

2Put beans in instant pot, 7.5L or larger

3Fill instant pot with enough water to cover beans by over 1 inch, but below max pressure cook level line

4Add veggie oil to pot to prevent foaming. Do not stir it inveggie oil: 1 tbsp

5Pressure cook on high for ⏱️ 40 minutes w/o keep warm, and vent promptly when finished

6Mix the following in a bowl : chili powder , cumin, ground , black pepper, ground , paprika , oregano, dried flakes , garlic powder , onion powder , chili flakeschili powder: 9 tbsp, cumin, ground: 4.5 tbsp, black pepper, ground: 3 tbsp, paprika: 1.5 tbsp, oregano, dried flakes: 1 tbsp, garlic powder: 1 tbsp, onion powder: 1 tbsp, chili flakes: 1 tbsp

7Cook rice, brown, dry as per the directions on the package on the biggest burner. Add 2 tablespoons of the mixed spices when the rice is added to the water. Proceed in parallel with cooking the rice.rice, brown, dry: 1.75 c

8When beans are done, strain some of the beans using a strainer, mesh, large . Strain enough to fill a skillet, large then put the strained beans in the skillet.

9Add water and some of the remaining spices to the skillet.water: 4 tbsp

10Cook the beans in the skillet uncovered on high until the water is absorbed/evaporated.

11Put the cooked & seasoned beans in mixing bowl, massive .

12Repeat the previous 4 steps until all the beans are in the mixing bowl. Use all the remaining spices on the beans.

13When the rice is ready, add it to the mixing bowl and mix the rice & beans thoroughly.

14Chop tomato, vine and lettuce, romaine .tomato, vine: 12, lettuce, romaine: 4 head

15Toast the tortilla, whole wheattortilla, whole wheat: 24
