🍳 Cookware
- pot with lid, 2.5L
- bowl, medium
- frying pan, large

1Put rice, asian white, dry in a pot with lid, 2.5Lrice, asian white, dry: 3 c

2Rince rice in 6 cups of water 1-2 times

3Add 4.25 cups of water to pot

4Leave covered for ⏱️ 30 minutes or until ready to start cooking

5Rince then mince or grate garlic and ginger root, fresh , put in bowl, mediumgarlic: 9 clove, ginger root, fresh: 1 big piece

6Start cooking rice: hard boil covered, then min heat for ⏱️ 25 minutes , then remove from heat for ⏱️ 15 minutes

7Start frying ground beef, extra lean covered on med-low heat until browned in frying pan, largeground beef, extra lean: 1.5 kg

8Chop bell pepper, red into 1 cm cubes, put in bowl with garlic and gingerbell pepper, red: 3

9Add sugar, brown , hoisin sauce , soy sauce , siracha sauce to same bowlsugar, brown: 3 tbsp, hoisin sauce: 120 ml, soy sauce: 80 ml, siracha sauce: 1/2 tbsp

10Once beef is browned, drain fat and put back on burner

11Add contents of bowl to frying pan and cook until pepper softens

12Fluff rice with fork before serving.

13Serve in bowl of rice topped with beef, garnished with sesame seeds and fresh cut chivessesame seeds, chives
